Family Concert: What Is Freedom? New York Concert reviews
Excellent Show
After all these years, Family Concert: What Is Freedom? remains amazing. His band was tight, and he has tremendous rapport with the audience. The set-list was wonderful, and the sound system at Amway was excellent. I loved all the slide shows playing during the songs. He sounds exactly like he did when he first started out. My only complaint is the lack of healthy food - most kiosks were overpriced burgers, fries, and Hot Dogs (there is one taco place that is good). One more complaint is not being allowed to bring in our own water, then being charged the ridiculous price of $5 a bottle. I decided to be thirsty and wait until after the show; I had water in my car. Requests for a cup of "regular" tap water were denied. Even at Walt Disney World, they only charge $3 a bottle (which is still overpriced), and they will give you FREE ice water at any of the counter service locations.
